Rooftops are known as a high risk area for workers (BG Bau 2021 statistics). The most frequent fatal falls occur from roofs, glass roofs, roof trusses, roof sheathing and the like, as the fall heights here are often great and the injuries more serious. When it comes to fall protection, contractors, employees and building operators are therefore equally obliged to comply with all safety-relevant regulations and implement preventive measures.
The anchor point, which at best is already included in the construction of a building, is the central component. A single anchor point can be used as a fall arrest system for personal protective equipment against falls and as a restraint system, in the way of a single anchor point for substructures of a rope system.
