Marco Neutard became chief digital officer at SKYLOTEC, a leading manufacturer of fall protection systems, in April. He has joined the executive board at the company in this newly created role. Neutard and his team will be working to implement the company’s growth strategy and develop digital solutions that support new and existing business segments in the future. “I am excited to have the opportunity to help shape the future at SKYLOTEC.
Our sector still has considerable growth potential in the areas of wind energy, telecommunications, and logistics both in Germany and abroad. We want to exploit this potential, and we are aiming to continually enhance our delivery reliability and profitability as well,” says Neutard.
SKYLOTEC’s new chief digital officer will oversee the company’s digital transformation. “As a family company that produces and manufactures its products in Germany, digitalization will have a big effect on us in many areas. This extends from internal processes such as those in production, to our interactions with our customers and our sales channels, and all the way to offering new services. Our company drives innovations in the fall protection business, and we’d like to strengthen this position. SKYLOTEC is growing rapidly, and I'm looking forward to contributing to this growth together with my team,” says Neutard, who previously supported strategy development and change management projects at a number of companies. He most recently worked as an independent management consultant and was also employed by McKinsey for several years. Neutard, who holds a degree in business management, also gained professional experience in the areas of marketing and sales prior to that.
SKYLOTEC is enjoying continued success after expanding its marketing shares in all segments in recent years. To this end, the company is aiming to continually develop its headquarters in Neuwied and is planning to recruit new team members in the future as well.
