SKYLOTEC, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of rescue and evacuation devices, has put its know-how into improving its products in the area of hardware over the years. The system can be installed on existing structures or ladders already in use with little effort. It can also be flexibly adjusted to individual circumstances and locations. “Claw Line” is certified under the latest standard EN 353-1:2014+A1:2017 and approved for stainless steel cables with diameters of 8mm and 10mm. When used with the vertical fall-arrest sleeve, “Claw” and its safety-relevant details, users can ascend and descend on a permanently secured fall-arrest system. L'Éthiopie est l'un des berceaux de l'homme moderne et a, outre un patrimoine historique et culturel unique, beaucoup à offrir. Caractérisé par un paysage varié, le plateau éthiopien se distingue par ses diverses formations rocheuses et est donc une destination populaire chez les alpinistes. Mais pourquoi choisir un pays dont les sites sont difficilement accessibles et dont la qualité des roches est assez méconnue ? C'est la curiosité et le goût pour l'aventure qui ont décidé l'athlète SKYLOTEC Michael « Much » Mayr et son partenaire Hansjörg Auer. C'est un ami qui leur a inspiré ce projet. Il avait adopté un enfant de cette région il y a quelques années et vantait sans cesse la beauté des impressionnantes montagnes de grès. Le climat des hauts-plateaux d'Abyssinie permet de profiter du soleil même en mars, ce qui est loin d'être le cas partout sur le continent africain.
