Professional training

The DGUV (german Social Accident Insurance) has newly regulated the training for the examination of personal protective equipment against falling. The new rules result in new content for our training sessions, a participant admission and longer training courses.

Requirements for participation according to DGUV principle 312-906

  • The participant must be at least 18 years old
  • The participant must be proven to have sufficient practical and theoretical knowledge of the use and handling of PPE in the relevant subarea due to his professional training and experience. Therefore, a successfully completed entrance test is considered an admission requirement. The test results must be available before registering for an open or closed training. The test can be repeated after 24 hours if it fails.

Training PSA, RA / SRHT and BOS (AGBF) according to DGUV 312-906

The Vertical Rescue College offers from June 2018 the sections PFPE, RA / SRHT and BOS (AGBF).  The new training concept will be implemented in Neuwied, Berlin, Hamburg and Ebhausen in our open, now 3-day trainings. Of course, these 3 sections can also be booked as a closed course at your location.

You learn how to carry out the annual expert examination in the respective subarea properly. After passing the exam, you will receive a certificate in accordance with DGUV principle 312-906 in your area. Afterwards, you can carry out the required expert examination of the corresponding products.

The DGUV training is divided into nine different sections:

1. personal fall protection equipment (PFPE)
2. equipment for special rescue from heights and depths (SRHT)
3. equipment for Rope Access (RA)
4. equipment for the rope climbing technique for tree care
5. equipment sets for public safety organizations (AGBF)
6. equipment for mountaineers
7. equipment for sports and leisure facil ities (SFA-S), rope courses and ropetechniques in the outdoor education (STEP)
8. equipment for heights intervention techniques (HIT)
9. equipment for mountain rescue services

The new principle provides, that the training time of each section should be extended from 16 to 24. This includes the theoretical and practical part of knowledge transfer, as well as the exam.
