SKYLOTEC

SKYLOTEC. We protect people against fall.

SKYLOTEC is one of the world‘s leading brands for protective equipment. The family-owned company, which has been developing and manufacturing fall protection solutions in Germany for over 70 years, offers an extensive product range - from harnesses and helmets to lanyards and holding ropes to abseiling and rescue equipment. Users in the field of industrial work at height, rescue teams and aid organisations, alpine mountaineering and sport climbing rely on this equipment.

At the beginning of 2020, SKYLOTEC expanded its range to include lightweight respiratory protection and has since been producing OP and FFP2 masks for the professional user market. SKYLOTEC relies on a quality philosophy that has been influential since its foundation in 1947: the brand stands for equipment that combines safety, functionality, user-friendly application and a high level of wearing comfort. SKYLOTEC relies on decades of expertise in the production of protective equipment, corresponding quality assurance systems, raw materials from Germany and the EU, and long-term contracts with European suppliers. This creates security of supply and at the same time is a clear commitment to Europe as a business location.

With the takeover of the „Climbing Technology“ brand from Italy, which is known worldwide in alpine mountaineering and sport climbing, in 2021 and the acquisition of „ActSafe“, the market leader for motor-driven rope winches, SKYLOTEC has expanded its capacities and competences in development and production - and gained further expertise in the interest of its customers. In the meantime, the company currently employs around 900 people worldwide and has its own production facilities
in Germany, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Sweden and Slovenia as well as branches all over the world.

The quality assurance systems of SKYLOTEC GmbH fulfill the requirements of the European PPE regulation according to (EU) 2016-425 module D. The management systems of SKYLOTEC GmbH meet the requirements of internationally recognized standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001.
