SERVICES

Annual testing of PPE is essential for fire and rescue services, as they need to be able to rely on their equipment in life-threatening situations. Certified experts check that harnesses, ropes and protective equipment meet all safety standards and function reliably under extreme conditions.

Annual inspections are particularly important for power ascenders such as the ActSafe RCX, which are used for high and low-altitude rescue operations. They enable safe and efficient lifting and abseiling of people, facilitate rescue operations in difficult terrain and reduce the physical strain on emergency services personnel.

Every test is documented in SKYLOTEC HOMEBASE, the digital database for the complete recording of the fall protection equipment used in rescue operations.

TRAININGS

The correct use of personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PPEaF) is essential. SKYLOTEC therefore offers various training courses on the correct use of PPE. These take place either in one of our training centres (Vertical Rescue College) or on-site at the customer's premises. It is also possible to complete theory modules online.

SKYLOTEC is certified by the Global Wind Organisation, IRATA and FISAT to provide training that meets national and international standards.
