POWER ASCENDERS

POSITIONING POINT OF
THE POWER ASCENDER
The device holds the Power Ascender at the attachment point and prevents it from falling when the rope is released.
BIDIRECTIONAL THROTTLE
The throttle lever controls the direction of movement of the rope hoist on the cable: backwards for ascent, forwards for descent. The winch stops automatically when released.
ON/OFF BUTTON AND LED INDICATOR
The rope hoist starts by pressing the on/off button. After the self-test with brake test and green LED signal, it is ready for use.
EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON
Pressing the emergency stop switch stops the rope hoist immediately.
CONNECTING LOOP AND CARABINER
The connecting sling with carabiner ensures that the rope hoist is securely attached to the attachment point, enables quick handling and guarantees stable load transfer during use.
HIGH-CAPACITY BATTERY
For maximum mobility and efficiency, Power Ascenders rely on specially developed lithium batteries with a very high energy density and are therefore very compact, lightweight and extremely powerful. The maximum charging time is 90 minutes, and the current charge status is clearly displayed via four LEDs on the battery itself and the LCD display of the charger.

ROPE TYPE, PREPARATION AND CARE
For use with POWER ASCENDERS, it is recommended that only pre-soaked ropes are used. New ropes should be soaked in cold water (<40 °C) for 24 hours and then dried slowly. This treatment improves the suitability of the ropes for two main reasons:Higher rope density
Soaking causes the fibres to absorb water and contract during drying. This results in a denser structure and a tighter-fitting cover. This makes the rope more dimensionally stable, with less sheath displacement and deformation - ideal for grip in the POWER ASCENDER.
Reduction of surface oil
During production, the rope fibres contain oil residues to reduce friction. When soaking, some of this oil is released from the surface. This also improves the grip in the device.
