FISAT
TRAINING


In this course, you will acquire knowledge and skills in rope access and positioning technology (RAP) according to the FISAT standard. FISAT, the professional and interest group for rope-assisted work techniques, defines nationally and internationally (especially throughout Europe) recognised safety and training guidelines for rope-assisted work. 

The training imparts the contents necessary for the safe and efficient procedure of tasks in difficult-to-access RAP areas. 

We offer training in the following areas:

  • FISAT LEVEL 1 (5 days)
  • FISAT LEVEL 2 (5 days)
  • FISAT LEVEL 3 (5 days)
  • FISAT refresher training (1 day)

Special features for upgrade training

  • Upgrade to Level 2
    The Level 1 certificate must still be valid on the day of the test!
  • Upgrade to Level 3
    min. 250 days of experience in the logbook (FISAT app) at Level 2
    min. 21 years of age
    The Level 2 certificate must still be valid on the day of the test!

DETAILS

Validity: 1 year Requirements:
Minimum age of 18 years (level 3 minimum 21 years),
valid first aid training according to DGUV or GWO FIRST AID
occupational health aptitude test (not older than 36 months) for work with a risk of falling (e.g. G41)

TARGET GROUP

Users who want to use rope-assisted access and positioning techniques (RAP) in accordance with TRBS 2121 Part 3 and DGUV Information 212-001 for vertical access.

FISAT Level 1
  • Basic knowledge laws and regulations for RAP
  • Knowledge of the FISAT guidelines (FSR-SZP)
  • Recognising and assessing hazards and risks
  • Basic knowledge of fall physics and safety technology
  • Basic knowledge of knot technology
  • Fundamentals of construction procedures for rope routes
  • Vertical access procedures
  • Edge transfer
  • Ascent and descent with clamping knots
  • Rope replacement
  • Use of PPE
Rescue technology:
  • Rescue from the chest ascender clamp
  • Rescue from the blocked belay device
  • Rescue from the energy absor
FISAT Level 2
  • Advanced knowledge of laws and regulations for rope access
  • Foundations of risk assessment
  • Knowledge of materials and equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of fall physics and safety technology
  • Advanced knowledge of knot technology
  • Advanced knowledge of rope access methods for rope routes
  • Foundations of pulley blocks
  • Horizontal access methods
  • Overcoming intermediate anchor points
  • Overcoming knots in the rope
  • Use of PPE
Rescue technology:
  • Rescue from horizontal structures/rope routes
  • Improvised rescue to the surface
FISAT Level 3
  • Detailed knowledge of laws and regulations for RAP
  • Creating an operational plan
  • Creating a risk assessment
  • Creating a rescue concept
  • Detailed knowledge of materials and equipment
  • Detailed knowledge of fall physics and safety technology
  • Detailed knowledge of construction procedures for rope routes
  • Advanced knowledge of pulley systems
  • Vertical, horizontal and diagonal access procedures
  • Use of PPE
Rescue technology:
  • Rescue from horizontal structures/rope routes
  • Improvised rescue to the surface
  • Rescue via an intermediate anchorage
  • Rescue via a rope extension
  • Rescue from a diagonal rope route
