SKYLOTEC CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct defines the basic requirements for our responsibility towards our stakeholders and the environment. SKYLOTEC hereby declares:
1. to comply with laws
- To comply with the laws of the applicable legal system(s)
2. prohibition of corruption and bribery
- Not to tolerate any form of corruption or bribery and not to participate in any form of corruption or bribery, including any payments or other forms of benefits
3. responsibility for employees
- to promote equal opportunities and equal treatment of employees, regardless of skin colour, race, nationality, social background, disability, sexual orientation, political or religious conviction, gender or age
- respect the personal dignity, privacy and rights of every individual
- not to tolerate unacceptable treatment of employees, such as mental cruelty, sexual harassment or discrimination
- grant fair remuneration and guarantee the applicable national statutory minimum wage
- comply with the maximum number of working hours laid down in the applicable laws
- Promote expertise, creativity and communication
- Supporting employees in achieving a sensible work-life balance, with a particular focus on the compatibility of family and career
- Provide training and development opportunities
- Encourage behaviours that are in line with the company's core values (solid, energetic, family, leadership, informed, expressive) among all employees
4. Prohibition of child labour
- under the age of 15
5. Health, occupational health and safety
- to take responsibility for the health and safety of its employees
- to control hazards and take the best possible precautions to prevent accidents and occupational illnesses
- guarantee a healthy and safe working environment
- provide training and ensure that employees are informed on health and safety issues
- minimise risks and promote the health, safety and job satisfaction of employees through health promotion and prevention measures
6. Sustainability
- Taking a holistic view of sustainability from an ecological, economic and social perspective
- to base all operational sustainability measures on the 2030 Agenda with its 17 Sustainable Development Goals
- Motivating stakeholders to use resources consciously
- promote sustainable working methods and conserve resources
- Ensure long-term economic sustainability as an independent family business
- Strengthen partnerships to achieve sustainable goals
6.1 Environmental protection
- to act in accordance with the applicable legal and international standards for environmental protection
- emissions, increase energy efficiency and contribute to a sustainable and clean future
- utilise renewable energies for power generation and further expand e-mobility
6.2 Supply chain
- to make reasonable efforts to promote compliance with this Code of Conduct among suppliers
- comply with the principles of non-discrimination in the selection and treatment of suppliers
- to operate sustainable supply chain management, taking into account economic, social and environmental aspects
- not to tolerate production in low-wage countries
7. Data protection and confidentiality
- protect the privacy of each individual
- to treat trade and business secrets confidentially
- to recognise the intellectual property of competitors and business partners
- protect personal data entrusted to us from unlawful processing and misuse
