DOUBLING THE LIFESPANÂ
This specialized maintenance process is used in particular for devices such as the MILAN rescue and evacuation device to ensure their operational readiness. After the annual mandatory inspection, the MILAN is stored in a padded, sealed aluminum box that comes with an individual rope length and accessories. An authorized inspector opens the box once a year, checks the humidity indicator and makes sure that the device is in perfect condition. If there are no issues, the box is sealed again with a new seal.
The SEAL PAC system makes this test procedure considerably easier by enabling a quick and efficient inspection. This method not only saves costs and time by eliminating expensive transportation and the associated downtime, but also extends the service life of the
SEAL PACÂ /Â ENDURANCE PAC system, which regularly works for 15 years but can be extended to up to 30 years after replacing components.
