Company acquisition of Sweden Entry Tools (SET) Breaching completes portfolio of tactical access solutions

SKYLOTEC expands its portfolio in the field of tactical access solutions through the acquisition of Sweden Entry Tools AB (known under the name SET Breaching), the leading provider of mechanical breaching solutions and training equipment worldwide. The acquisition is carried out through SKYLOTEC Nordic AB, the Swedish branch of SKYLOTEC.

The breaching tools are very compact, lightweight and versatile.

SKYLOTEC is a leading manufacturer of fall protection equipment, height rescue equipment and products for rope-based access in civilian, military and law enforcement applications. Closing the last gap, especially in situations where forceful entrance might be needed, the SET Breaching System completes the offered SKYLOTEC product portfolio specialised for tactical access. In combination with accredited training courses conducted by experienced instructors with operational background, this acquisition marks a significant milestone for SKYLOTEC and solidifies the company's position as a premium full-service provider of tactical access solutions.

The biggest risk for window entries are the small glass shards which are left in the frame. The glass entry tools clear away all glass fragments quickly and effeciently.

As part of this acquisition, SET Breaching will be fully integrated into SKYLOTEC Nordic AB, located in Löddeköpinge, Sweden. A crucial aspect of this transaction is the integration of the founders Lars Ingesson and Patrik Gustavsson into the SKYLOTEC team. Their ongoing involvement secures valuable expertise and know-how essential for the further development of products and services.

Continued under the product category of “SET-Breaching”, the additional product portfolio will be recognizable under the SKYLOTEC brand for the highly specialized target group worldwide. With this step and to ensure delivery capability in general, SKYLOTEC Nordic AB will establish a new logistics center and further adapt the efficiency and capacity of the operation to meet the growing customer demand.

With the multifunctional tools, the teams are also ideally equipped for unforeseen circumstances.

Dr Kai Rinklake, owner and CEO of SKYLOTEC says: "Customers in the field of tactical access expect maximum product performance, effective and innovative technologies from a single source in order to overcome their complex challenges in an uncomplicated, reliable and, above all, secure manner. The acquisition of SET Breaching is a logical extension of our existing product range. This is characterised by excellent quality combined with high user benefits - without compromise. With this integration and with the new expertise in the team, we look forward to being able to meet the high customer expectations of a specialised portfolio in the field of tactical access even better in the future."
