Kristian Augusts Gate 13 is located in the heart of the city of Oslo and is characterised by its mixture of historical architecture and modern flair.
The architecturally appealing building was equipped with an innovative fall protection solution from SKYLOTEC. Thanks to the modern SKYRAIL rail system, the building was not only prepared for safe roof maintenance, but also equipped for efficient window cleaning using rope Access/Rigging. The SKYRAIL rail system not only defines new standards for roof maintenance, but also guarantees the highest safety standards for cleaning and servicing building facades. Kristian August's Gate 13 Oslo thus raises safety and efficiency when working at height to a new level.
Implementing leading rope Access/Rigging solutions ensures that striking buildings such as Kristian August's Gate 13 Oslo are not only safe but also immaculately maintained. This building has been a flagship project for environmental friendliness and innovative solutions within the FutureBuilt criteria for circular buildings.
SKYLOTEC is supplying the SKYRAIL rail system in anodised gold for this project so that it leaves a minimal footprint on the building, not only visually but also in terms of materials. In addition, the rail system blends harmoniously into the architectural concept of Kristian August's Gate 13 Oslo and emphasises the commitment to environmental friendliness and innovation.
The fall protection system was retrofitted directly from the top of the roof waterproofing without the need to open the roof.
