SKYRAIL rail system

This Munch Museum in Oslo is a place full of artistic splendour. It was built to honour the works of the famous Norwegian artist Edvard Munch. The museum houses the largest collection of his paintings, prints and sculptures in the world.

By integrating SKYLOTEC's SKYRAIL rail system inside and out, the museum has realised a solution for innovative rope Access/Rigging. The fall protection system already played a key role during the construction phase. Not only were steel structures hot-dip galvanised, but all glass surfaces and façade panels were also installed and cleaned with the help of the rope Access/Rigging system.

With the SKYRAIL RUN runner element, users can move continuously along the rail without interruptions. The already architecturally appealing design of the SKYRAIL system also offers individual colour options that ensure harmonious integration with the building.

This innovative solution combines first-class security with an aesthetic appearance that fulfils the design requirements of the Munch Museum.
