SUSTAINABILITY, HEALTH AND SOCIAL COMMITMENT
We aim to minimize risks in our employees' working environment and to promote their health, safety and job satisfaction through health promotion and prevention. With ongoing training and development opportunities for all employees and a high trainee retention rate, we combine an attractive training program with ensuring the long-term success of the business.
Our products are manufactured in a way that conserves resources. Our quality standards go beyond the usual standards and regulations. We want to continue to set the standards for tomorrow's safety for our customers. This long-term success can only be achieved through a sustainable business strategy, creating solutions that create improvements.
To help protect the environment for a clean future, we are measuring our Corporate Carbon Footprint and developing a climate strategy based on the CCF as part of the transformation concept, with a well-founded target of reducing identified greenhouse gas emissions by at least 40% within 10 years. The resulting energy-saving measures, the promotion of mobile working and the reduction of business travel are making a measurable contribution to Carbon reduction, as are the use of renewable energies for electricity generation and the continuous expansion of e-mobility within our company vehicle fleet.
In crisis and disaster areas, we proactively provide rapid assistance to rescue and security forces as a sign of our social responsibility. We also support the Karin Rinklake Foundation, which was set up by our Managing Partner Dr Kai Rinklake and bears his mother's name, in promoting charitable and benevolent causes in the areas of education, sport and culture, youth welfare, science and research, and environmental protection.
