Course description
In certain circumstances, rope work is required, e.g. when accessing the building facade. The training teaches the user how to perform the ascent in an easy and safe way. The course participant learns how to safely set up a rope belay system and how to ascend and descend with the ACX device.

Training goals
Training participants will be able to explain and demonstrate the following:
Checking the SKYLOTEC ACX device before use
Inspection of main and belay ropes prior to deployment.
Sound knowledge of tying anchor, centerline and end knots on ropes to understand their limitations
Risk assessment
Design the work area safely and have a sound knowledge of how to monitor safety
Selection of anchor points
Have a comprehensive knowledge of rope work equipment
Correct choice of safety harness
Correct attachment of the ACX device and seat board to the user
Correct use of the SKYLOTEC ACX device
Ascent and descent with the SKYLOTEC ACX device
Rescue plans and rescue of the user
Certificate and validity period
