Climbing and Rescue with Milan "Basic"

Course description

Temporary or permanent work with a fall hazard entails the possibility of a fall. To protect employees from the hazards involved, they must be instructed in the use of personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PPE). When working with a fall hazard, a fall can never be ruled out. In the event of a fall, a prompt rescue must be ensured, which usually cannot be carried out by local rescue units. Because of this, PPE users must be able to perform a quick and safe rescue on their own. After the two-day training, the participants are trained in the use of the PPE (in theory and practice) on different structures and can rescue each other with the MILAN rescue device.
