Training ACX/PMX Material and Personal Handling Refresher
Course description
In certain circumstances, rope work is required, e.g. when accessing the building facade. The training teaches the user how to perform the ascent in an easy and safe way. The course participant learns how to safely set up a rope belay system and how to ascend and descend using the ACX/PMX device.

Target group
All persons who are to be trained for safe access at high buildings. This group of people includes, among others, window and facade cleaners, painters or inspectors.

Knowledge, skills and safe behavior related to lifting people and loads with ACX and PMX.

Training Goals
Training participants will be able to explain and demonstrate the following:
Checking the SKYLOTEC ACX / PMX unit before use
Checking the main and safety ropes before use
Sound knowledge of tying anchor, centerline and end knots on ropes to understand their limitations
Risk assessment
Design the work area safely and have a sound knowledge of safety supervision
Selection of anchor points
Comprehensive knowledge of rope work equipment
Correct choice of safety harness
Correct attachment of the ACX / PMX device and the seat board to the user.
Correct use of the SKYLOTEC ACX / PMX device
Ascent and descent with the SKYLOTEC ACX / PMX device
Rescue plans and rescue of the user
Certificate and validity period
