The downtime of each wind turbine results in a loss of energy production and income for the operator. Therefore, increasing the efficiency of repair work directly leads to minimal downtime and maximizes the amount of energy that can be produced, which in turn increases the operator's revenue. ActSafe climbing clamps are used for four different work procedures: 

1. Steel ropes are positioned using the ActSafe climbing clamps to lift them to the anchor points.

 2. Once the platform reaches the desired height, the ActSafe climbing clamps are anchored to the platform to maneuver it horizontally into position on the blade. 

3. Technicians use the ActSafe climbing clamps to leave the platform and return to it without interrupting the repair work. This saves a lot of time, as the team can take relief breaks or change shifts without moving the platform and disturbing the worksite. 

4. ActSafe POWER ASCENDERS are used as rescue devices. Technicians are familiar with them, which is advantageous in emergency situations under high pressure.
