For ladder or rail projections of more than 500mm, a stile reinforcement must be connected to the arrester profile. The rail reinforcement must extend downwards over at least two fastening brackets. The rail reinforcement provides, in the event of a fall, stability when the rising person has reached the top of the ladder.
