When protecting maintenance personnel on the exposed aluminium standing seam roof of the Hafenliebe in Hamburg, a reliable fall protection system is of crucial importance – especially in the immediate vicinity of the Elbe and with challenging roof geometries.

In this context, the SECU® FALZ 1.0 rope system was installed, which is optimally matched to the Bemo folded roof. A total of 120 metres of cable system was distributed across two individual systems and secured with 20 custom-fit Bemo metal roof clamps – without penetrating the roof membrane. The solution enables continuous, standard-compliant safety while allowing a high degree of freedom of movement for all work along the maintenance routes. It also impresses with its long-term stability, even in harsh Hanseatic weather conditions.

SECU® FALZ 1.0 TYP KALZIP

The SECU® FALZ 1.0 TYPE KALZIP is a specially developed rope system for fall protection on standing seam roofs with Kalzip profiles. The anchor point is made of high-quality aluminium and is mounted directly on the profile sheet using form-fitting clamps – completely without penetrating the roof. The combination of sturdy stainless steel components and precise fastening technology enables secure horizontal anchor lines and offers maximum freedom of movement with permanent protection. Ideal for servicing and maintenance work on challenging roof surfaces.
