After a fall, the injured person is often hanging in an inaccessible place, e.g. below the edge of the fall. The SKA ROPE CLAMP rope clamp is used as a rescue rope clamp to create an anchor point on the lanyard of an injured person. In this case, the rope clamp is placed on the lanyard or fall arrester rope of the casualty. This allows the casualty to be lifted until the load on the lanyard is relieved.
When used regularly and stored in a standard bag, the maximum service life of the rope clamp is 10 years. The clamp must be checked annually. If the rope clamp is stored unused in a Seal Pac, the service life is extended to 15 years and can be increased to up to 30 years once the Seal Pac has been resealed.PRODUCT
